"I was born in Vancouver Washington in 1980 where most of my early childhood was spent. Ten years later I moved with my family to Denmark were I spent one year, then moved again in 1991 to the Czech Republic where I lived 7 years and began to seriously consider art as a career. I was schooled at home up until my senior year of high school. After my time in Europe, I attended Greenville College in Illinois for 4 years, where I received my Bachelor of fine arts in painting. I then moved to Denver, Colorado where I stayed nearly two years and began showing my work in local galleries. After a short time of showing in Denver, I was picked up by Robin Rule to join her stable of artists at Rule Gallery. In late 2004 I moved once again, this time to Portland, Oregon where I currently live and work. I was represented at Margo Jacobsen Gallery in Portland Oregon from early 2007 until the gallery closed in January 2008."
