Luis Garcia-Nerey was born San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1973. Garcia-Nerey studies began at Long Island University – CW Post then continued at New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL, where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. Throughout this period, Garcia-Nerey honed his skills in both painting and sculpture.
Luis Garcia-Nerey works have been shown all over the world, including recent showings in Miami (U.S.), Los Angeles (U.S.), San Juan, Puerto Rico (U.S.) and New York (U.S.). Garcia-Nerey currently lives in Miami, FL and is in residency at ArtCenter/South Florida.
